And here is my review of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts! Shall we get some popcorn?

Monday, June 5, I participated in a press screening of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts in 4DX please! This 4DX technology was a first for me, so what does it mean?

There I finally discovered the 4DX, clearly I wasn't ready :p The seat that moves in all directions, the air, the rain, blows to the feet and back, not to mention the 3D film was very fun!

As you can imagine, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts lends itself perfectly to 4DX technology, this film being very generous in terms of action and fighting! I wasn't expecting such immersion, I was clearly immersed in the action of Transformers!

The 4DX is great but let's come back to the review of the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts film.

I warn in advance, I am not aficionado of the Transformers saga, I saw a few in my youth but I must have missed a few episodes! It’s lucky for me that this Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is a prequel, at least I wasn’t blown away by the plot! Without going into details and so as not to spoil the story for you, the Transformers Autobots must fight against the evil Decepticons, for this they will be able to count on humans but also new allies the Maximals. Obviously, like in any movie, the good guys have to save the world! It’s seen and seen again but we’re not going to see a Transformers mainly for its storyline eh 😀 .

A Transformers film is, above all else, quality special effects and a very good dose of action/adventure/fighting. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is no exception to the rule and respects the specifications of a good cinematic “Popcorn” film. The special effects are worthy of a good Hollywood film, the action and chase scenes are generous, the robot fights are Dantesque, it's very entertaining. This deluge of action/adventure/fighting was pleasant. What I also appreciated is that this Transformers is not too violent, it is clearly a family film! Certainly the story is not very original, but it does not spread like wildfire (robots). It's a mix between an Indiana Jones and a meeting between a young person from the working class neighborhoods of New York with the famous Transformers.

The Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Movie lasts 2 hours, I didn't notice the time passing, and I didn't look at my watch! This 2-hour Transformers is appreciable, because the trend today in cinema is moving towards increasingly long films... It is not uncommon now to see films that last between 2h30 to 3h or more, it becomes delirious and painful especially when it is not justified. I attended a VF screening of this Transformers and frankly it went well. It's strange but also nice to hear Dorothée's voice dubbing Airazor, it's the Dorothée club throughout my childhood :p. Concerning the music of the film, it corresponded well to the general atmosphere of Transformers, it was pleasant.

My verdict

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts revives interest in the saga with this prequel suitable for the whole family! It's a pleasant film with good special effects, full of action/adventure/fighting scenes, I had a good time!

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is the entertaining Popcorn movie that kicks off the summer season's cinematic hostilities!
