Thanks to them, I can offer you my test of the brilliant Lost Judgment on PS5 (the game is also available on PS4, XBox One and Xbox Series S/X). I want to warn you, this game is my end-of-year favorite! I apologize in advance if I'm too enthusiastic!

The Return of Detective Yagami San!

The famous detective of the Kamurocho sector, namely Takayuki Yagami, is back, to the great misfortune of delinquents and yakuza. Always accompanied by his friend Kaito (former member of the Yakuzas) Yagami San will have to investigate cases of bullying in a high school, but also a mysterious crime... I was astonished and pleasantly surprised that the Ryu ga Gotoku studios saga evoked the theme of school bullying and suicides. Without spoiling it, the story of Lost Jugment is touching, sincere, this video game is a great life lesson. The immersion is total in this game. The NPCs encountered are superbly well done, this game is incredibly well designed. I haven't had this very good feeling for a long time. The last game that knocked me out in a similar way was Shenmue on my Sega Dreamcast in 1999! Besides, since I'm talking about Shenmue, Lost Judgment pays it a nice tribute. Between the arcade machines playable in the game, the fights, the QTEs, the Sega Master System console in the detective room but especially certain missions (infiltration into the high school with the guards in blue) which immediately remind me of Shenmue, there are winks everywhere! Besides, a female NPC is Yui Suzuki ^^. Lost Judgment offers an incredible open world game, lively, credible, between the district of Kamurocho and Isezaki Ijincho located in the city of Yokohama!

Pad in hand, Yagami San is still as strong as ever when it comes to beating up local delinquents and yakuzas. The fights are lively, fluid and very fun! It’s an extremely funny venting bug. Don’t hesitate to use the decor and urban objects to defeat the bad guys 😀. Lost Judgment also offers a good dose of exploration, as well as infiltration and listening phases. Let's not forget that Yagami San is not just a fighter, he is also an outstanding detective. You have to solve mysteries, return to crime scenes, interview victims, install cameras, and use any good object of the perfect little detective.

Lost Judgment is divided into several chapters, it's very cinematic and it fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the game. I only have three chapters left to do, but I'm enjoying Lost Judgment so much that I'm in no hurry to finish this game! I confess, I love spending time in Lost Judgment. Time passes too quickly unfortunately, but fortunately I always have a good time. Needless to say, in addition to the main story, Lost Judgment offers side missions for Yagami San. Good news, these missions are very funny and touching, it’s really good work.

Graphically Lost Judgment is a fireworks display. IT shines brightly. At night it is a feast for the eyes but above all an invitation to travel and explore. It may not be the most beautiful game on the PS5 but the technical achievement is still of a very high level. The game is fluid, detailed, incredibly lively and credible. The faces of the NPCs are superb, truly the members of the Ryu ga Gotoku studios are wizards! And what about the game audio! The music and sound effects are superb, you can play the game in Japanese with VF subtitles or English with VF subtitles, that way everyone is happy!

Really, this Lost Judgment is my video game of the year 2021! During each gaming session, I have a blast! The gameplay is really excellent! Lost Judgment offers total immersion, enjoyable combat, an exceptional atmosphere and a touching and perfectly mastered story!
