Let’s Sing 2022 review

Come on Come on, let's practice singing for the holidays this end of year! Nothing like Let’s Sing to become the best singer in the world (or not ^^) Here is my review of Let’s Sing 2022!

Once is not customary, thanks toKoch mediafor sending me a copy of Let’s Sing 2022 on Playstation 4, so that I could test it! So I rushed to install the game on my PS4 and download the pack of French songs. Well if it's been raining lately, it's perfectly normal, because like the Gallic AssuranceTourix when I sing it's raining ^^.

Enough jokes, it's time to get down to business. As always, Let’s Sing 2022 offers a simple but effective menu. We have different game modes. A “classic” mode where you simply select your song and sing alone or with others. Obviously we earn points based on our vocal performance, and we can fool the competitor by comparing the results. Let's move on to "feat" mode, where we sing as a duet and where it is possible to calculate our singing level compatibility ^^. Let’s Sing 2022 also offers the following modes.  The "jukebox" to listen to the songs, a "let’s party" mode to sing as a team of up to 8 players, a "mixtape" where you play 5 excerpts of songs together, "the world contest" to face the singers online, and the "legend" mode where you have to take on challenges. In short, Let’s Sing 2002 is plentiful in these game modes, there is plenty to have fun with. As with every game, the more you practice, the more you level up to unlock avatars. As we progress we improve our singing score, and we can compare our scores with other players around the world. Yes, it's official, I'm top 3 on an Adèle song :D, so I can't sing that badly haha.

You will ask me what equipment I use to sing in Let's Sing 2022. I use a simple PS4 USB microphone from another musical game. It works well, I haven't noticed any particular problems. Let’s Sing 2022, as with its predecessors, also offers playing with your smartphone. Covid 2019 obliges, casually it's very practical to sing with your smartphone it avoids having to pass the microphone to other players and risking contamination. I also use my smartphone to sing in Let’s Sing 2022 clearly it works very well, you just need to install the free let’s sing application. Simple but effective. I also advise you to set your TV in game mode to avoid latency during songs. If you have a soundbar, be sure to calibrate it correctly in the video/audio menu, to avoid lag which could harm the gaming experience.

Now let's move on to choosing songs. As usual, Let’s Sing 2022 offers 40 songs, including 20 French and 20 international. Obviously the game includes the most popular songs of the moment, the "hits", so I wasn't too disappointed during my singing sessions. Afterwards, it's all a matter of preferences regarding the playlist! Clearly Big FLo and Oli as well as Jennifer, it doesn't speak to me at all, it's not for me ^^, but hey there's something for everyone. Children will be able to sing the song from Aladdin, elders will be able to enjoy Aznavour, it's varied, Let's Sing 2022 as with the old episodes, wide to please as many people as possible. There's Lady Gaga, M Pokora, Vianney, De Palmas, Soprano, Kendji Girac, Barbara Pravi, Jenifer, Keen'V, Camélia Jordana, Clara Luciani, David Bowie, Imagine Dragons, Rag'n'Bone Man, the Backstreet Boys, David Guetta, Ava max… The playlist is varied. On the other hand, still having the previous episodes of Let’s Sing, I would have loved to be able to integrate the old playlist into this Let’s Sing 2022. Too bad, I would change the game disc each time ^^

My verdict

Let’s Sing 2022 has almost no false notes. If I have one criticism to make it's that it looks like Let's Sing 2021 and 2020. If I have to summarize, it's simply a new Playlist. But honestly I find this game good as it stands for a singing game, why would we have to change everything?

In short, Let’s Sing 2022 is a friendly singing video game, very fun, to share with family and friends! This game can be a very nice Christmas present, of course you have to overcome your shyness, but hey we all tend to let loose during karaoke evenings right??? ^^
