It's been a month since I plunged back into the witcher's world! Here is my opinion on The Witcher 3 next gen!
Usually I'm not a fan of video game remasters, clearly I don't really see the point in replaying the same video game with simply improved graphics. However, given that’ It's about Geralt De Riv, the famous witcher. I wanted to make an exception and test this next gen Xbox Series/PS5 update.
I love The Witcher saga and good news for our wallet, this next gen update is completely free! You simply need to own The Witcher 3 game on PS4 Xbox One or PC.
After downloading the very big update offered on my Xbox Series So yes it's magnificent in quality mode, but frankly it's much more pleasant to play in 60 FPS performance mode, the game is fast, perfectly fluid, but also almost as beautiful as in quality mode. Test the 2 modes and make your choice. The Witcher 3 to 8 years old (release date in 2015) but frankly thanks to this next gen update it is also beautiful or even superior to many games of the moment, it's an excellent job!
What's also new for this next gen update of The Witcher 3? The game now has a camera closer to the witcher, as well as a photo mode, but also (and above all) the loading times are much faster than back then! phew ^^. The gameplay has also been optimized to be up to date, and the combat is also more dynamic. An additional story related to The Witcher series has been added to The Witcher 3, much to the delight of fans!
My verdict!
I've been playing this Next Gen update of The Witcher 3 for 1 month on my Xbox Series X, and I'm having a blast! I'm rediscovering my favorite game in a new light thanks to the excellent work of the developers! The Witcher 3 is clearly magnificent on Xbox Series X and S, on Playstation 5 and on PC! The story of this game is still enjoyable, The Witcher 3 is a video game gem! Having never played the expansions for The Witcher 3, I can't wait to discover them but also to play the mission which is inspired by the series! The Witcher 3 next Gen is a great Christmas gift from the developers of this cult game! Thank you very much Cd Projekt!
