My fish is fresh!
And yes, even today, this video game is clearly not out of date and does not smell like fresh fish! It must be said that the beautiful colorful graphics in 02 dimensions immediately remind me of the comic strip of the diehard Gauls! It’s cute, it’s clean but above all the gameplay of this action platform game is intuitive and flawless! The handling is immediate, and the 8-bit Sega soundscape gives a very pleasant flavor to this video game! It's crazy how this game goes through the years without aging! It must be thanks to the magic potion without a doubt! Concerning the scenario, this brave Panoramix has been kidnapped by the Romans and Asterix and Obelix must go to Rome to free him!
Where are the Romans?
Ah well in this platform game the Romans are not what is missing, to the great pleasure of Obélix. We can distribute slaps or throw menhirs! Asterix is obviously there, even if for him he has to drink the magic potion to hit the Roman, and yes he did not fall into the magic potion when he was little like Obelix! Certainly all roads lead to Rome but you will first have to go through 8 levels! In Asterix, on Sega Master System, you can play as either Asterix or Obelix, it's as you wish and therefore the replayability is optimal! Unfortunately at the time of Sega's 8-bit console you couldn't save your game! So we had to play it completely and it wasn't easy! And yes the games at the time were much more difficult than today!
