Splinter Cell review on XBox
The very first Splinter Cell was a very good infiltration game! Let's go back in time with Sam Fisher in this Test of Splinter Cell on Xbox!
Onward to my review of Splinter Cell on XBox! Ahhhh Splinter Cell, this game alone was worth buying the very first XBox! And yes, Splinter Cell was originally a (temporary) exclusive to Microsoft's XBox, released at the end of 2002. I had been looking for a good infiltration game for a long time, and not being at all into the Japanese delirium of Metal Gear Solid, this Splinter Cell gave me complete satisfaction. See instead. In Splinter Cell, we play an American Sam Fisher, NSA agent, member of the Echellon 3 section. What could be better than the official voice actor of Arnold Schwarzenegger to embody the voice of Sam Fischer, it's classy in Dallas ^^. Who says infiltration game, says progressing in the shadows, neutralizing enemies, camera lights, using night and thermal vision, using violent interrogation techniques. The register of the perfect little spy is fully respected. In addition, Sam Fisher is as well equipped as our British spy friend, Agent 007. Add to this the Tom Clancy scenario which adds a good layer of immersion to this very good Splinter Cell infiltration game. Even if the big duck pad (the huge African controller of the Xbox) seems to be a handicap for this game, it is not at all! Agent Sam Fisher responds perfectly to our requests with this controller. The gameplay is really very good.
And technically what a graphic slap! It was what was best at the time! Between the play of shadows and lights as well as the faithful transcription of the places visited, this Splinter Cell is really good. Our eyes are feasting! This game proves that Microsoft's first Xbox has it in its stomach! Just to quibble, a slight aliasing is noticeable, but in the end nothing too bad, I'm being a pain in the ass! We're really getting into the Splinter Cell game! Indeed, the atmosphere is really very good. We neutralize enemies using different techniques, we hide bodies, we use them to open certain doors, we neutralize lights and cameras, we use violent interrogation techniques, we use war or neutralizing weapons, in short it is possible to do everything in this Splinter Cell! With this brave Sam Fisher we play the perfect little Spy, we really believe we are in an American blockbuster type film. Ubisoft has really worked well on this Splinter Cell even if we can criticize a somewhat short lifespan and an AI of the enemies that can sometimes be improved. You have understood that Splinter Cell is really very good! This game is the “must have” for Microsoft’s XBox!
