Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
I started playing it when it was released in June on Xbox Game Pass, but because of my busy schedule, I (shamefully) left this Ninja Turtles Shredder’s Revenge aside! By the way, I would like to say a big thank you to the very friendly playerDiagnosedWhitywho played Ninja Turtles Shredder’s Revenge with me this morning! Thanks to him, I had a great time and we finished this game together :)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is a Street Of Rage type game with a Ninja Turtle twist! You can play as the different members of the Ninja Turtle team as well as their friends. It is made up of 16 varied levels and you can play it with up to 6 players, just that 🙂 . I played the first 4 levels locally with my partner and the next 12 online via Xbox Game Pass with my friend DiagnosedWhity!
Regarding the story, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge does not reinvent the wheel. If you know cartoons you will be on familiar ground. As usual, Shredder and his acolytes plan to sow chaos in good old New York!
This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is a very good old school “Beat them all” in 02 dimensions with big old-fashioned pixels that recall our spotty adolescence ^^. Xbox pad in hand, it's a good release, our Ninja turtle perfectly executes the different attacks, combos, dodges and special moves. The enemies are numerous and varied. The game is perfectly smooth and fast. The music sets the mood just like the English version. Obviously the interest of such a Beat them all is to play with those close to you, and indeed it's a total blast! The difficulty of the game is well balancedTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revengeadapts to the general public as well as to players with a high level. You can play the arcade mode by chaining the levels, but also the story mode which offers small side missions in addition to the 16 levels.
I noticed a few small flaws in this game. Some passages are repetitive and the gameplay is not easy with the enemies flying in the air. We sometimes struggle to find the right height to touch the villain. But hey, these little flaws don't spoil the pleasure of playing at all.
My verdict!
No need to do a test of 1500 to 3000 words in order to be well referenced on Google. I don't care about this referencing at all. I'm going to get straight to the point with this short but effective test. Like an excellent pizza, this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is devourable from start to finish! This Beat Them All Ninja Turtle with Street Of Rage flavor is very pleasant, and for several people it's a total blast!
