Fan of arcade type games on Sega Dreamcast? So take a look at my review of Speed Devils on my legendary Sega Dreamcast! A little trip down memory lane!
This Sega Dreamcast was definitely the queen of arcade video games! See, Crazy Taxi, Virtua Tennis, Sega Rally 2, Daytona USA, House Of The Dead 2, Virtua Fighter 3TB, Soul Calibur… Really an arcade machine at home this Dreamcast! But let's get back to our subject! Today I offer you my review of Speed Devils on Dreamcast! This is a good little hassle-free arcade game made in UbiSoft! In this completely crazy racing game, we go through the different circuits made in the USA, between Hollywood, Nevada, Colorado, Louisiana, but also Canada and Mexico, you're going to see some country! To top it all off, you will have to manage the unpredictable weather but also unforeseen elements such as Extraterrestrial attacks, tornadoes, an enraged King Kong, aeronautical rodeos and many other things!
In Speed Devils on Dreamcast, you have the choice between an arcade mode, a local multiplayer mode and a championship. In this last mode you have to climb the ranks to become the king of racing by obtaining new cars or improving your own! The challenge is there, but since this game is pleasant and fun that poses no problem! Be careful not to completely crash your car because yes, damage management is present (And to think that Gran Turismo still doesn't have one!) Obviously, graphically, Speed Devils is eye-catching, especially in 2017 compared to games like Forza Horizon 3! But for the Sega Dreamcast it was really very clean and fluid! Driving on Speed Devils is easy and intuitive; there's honestly not much to complain about in this game except, ultimately, the frankly repetitive music! To conclude, I recommend this very good Speed Devils on Sega Dreamcast, because even if it is not the best in its field, it is still very nice!
