Review of Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast!
Today I offer you my review of Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast! This game is my favorite Sonic 3D and certainly the best episode in my eyes!
Sonic Adventure! This game reminds me of my first wonderful moments on my superb Sega Dreamcast! What a slap in the face this game is! I was slightly worried because I used to play episodes of Sonic in 2D during the heyday of the Sega Megadrive, and finally this comeback in 03 dimensions is truly exceptional :) Here is my review of Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast! Coming from the Sega Megadrive, without going through the Sega Saturn, Sony Playstation and Nintendo 64 box, I felt an incredible shock playing this Sonic Adventure for the first time on Dreamcast! So imagine, incredible 3D for the time, a clean image, superb graphics, a crazy atmosphere! At first I told myself that it couldn't be a gaming session, and yet I was indeed playing my very first episode of Sonic in 03 dimensions (Sonic 3D on megadrive doesn't count ^^). In Sonic Adventure, we play the role of this brave Sonic, who, believing he is taking it easy on vacation in the sun, finds himself once again confronting Eggman (Doctor Robotnik for short!). For the first time in a Sonic, we find ourselves with exploration phases with a touch of RPG, we don't stupidly chain courses like in previous episodes, and this casual novelty was really nice for a platform game! Many surprises await you, you will even become a chao breeder but shush…
In Sonic Adventure, it is possible to move around town, play at the casino, go to the hotel, go to the swimming pool, to the beach in the jungle, in short, to be able to go almost everywhere before completing the different courses offered. The different courses are all very varied and downright fun. Sonic moves very easily thanks to the Sega Dreamcast pad and ultimately it's not that difficult to make Sonic run in this 3-dimensional urban world. The only small gameplay flaw I think is the camera which has difficulty following Sonic's crazy race, but hey that didn't stop me from finishing this very good game! In addition to being able to play as Sonic, this adventure also offers the opportunity to play Tails, Knuckles, Big, Amy Rose, E102 and Super SOnic! There's definitely plenty to do in this Sonic Adventure! To really get into this platform game, the graphics of Sonic Adventure are top notch, the speed of the game is crazy, the sound effects and music do the job perfectly! As you can see, this Sonic Adventure is a very, very good surprise for this first appearance of Sonic in 3D despite a few small camera bugs! I strongly recommend that you acquire this Sonic Adventure which is, in my opinion, one of the best games on the Sega Dreamcast!
