PS4 Remote Play on Playstation TV
Hallelujah, I finally found a use for my Playstation TV. Here's my tutorial for using PS4 Remote Play on Playstation TV!
My main television being very often busy, I thought why not give my little Playstation TV a second chance by installing it on the television in my bedroom. The goal of the maneuver is to be able to enjoy my PS4 remotely, in the peace and quiet of my room ^^. It’s very simple to use and it works well! Here's how to use PS4 Remote Play on Playstation TV!
First essential step, your PS4 must be connected to the internet box via an Ethernet cable, clearly don't plan to stream the PS4 via wifi, it's crap. YourPlayStation TVmust also be connected via ethernet, little tip, plug in your PS TVvia a CPL kit(ethernet socket) so that your entire local network is fast.
Second step you have to go to the PS4 settings, then to “Remote Play Connection Settings »
“Enable Remote Play”. ATTENTION do not activate “Connect directly to PS Vita/PS TV »This is bullshit because the PS4 will want to connect directly via wifi to the Playstation TV. Do not activate this option, you have been warned :)
Third step note the weak resolution of the Playstation TV at its maximum 1080i yes I know it's not great but it's not worse than 720p :/
Last step: update your PS4, your Playstation TV, plug in a Dualshock 4 Pad and launch the remote play application!
