Like Neo I took the red pill 🙂 So here I am equipped with a Playstation VR to dive into the Matrix… Uuuuh no in virtual reality finally! Why did you buy the Playstation VR? Honestly because it was much cheaper than an Oculus Rift at €800 or an HTC Vive costing almost €1000! Moreover, with its Playstation VR Sony promised easy installation and use worthy of plug and play! Contract respected! However, allow a good 10 minutes to install your Playstation VR for the first time. But don't worry, the instructions are clear and precise! You will therefore need to connect a small external video box with the PS4, connect a Playstation Camera which will detect the movements of the headset, as well as a few miscellaneous cables! However, I wouldn't expect to find myself with so many kilometers of cables! We go from 400€ to more than 800€ or even 1000€ without forgetting the competition PC that is needed for the whole thing to run! Honestly, I tried all the helmets! No need to spend more than the already very high price of the Playstation VR!!!

Enough blabla! So let's start some games! I started directly with DriveClub VR, a car racing license available on PS4. Equipped with my Playstation VR and an audio headset, here I am at the start of the track, aboard a car that I could never afford in real life! I felt a big wow effect, and a pretty intense emotional shock! Indeed, even if this first VR game is technically perfectible (aliasing blur effect), the immersion is total! Honestly, we really feel like we’re in a real racing car! It’s stunning! The sensations are exhilarating! You feel the speed, the turns, the sporty driving, it's incredible! New video game sensations are available to us! Wishing to continue with this new experience, I launched the Eve Valkyrie demo on my PS4! And then I got a second slap in the face! You must think I'm crazy but in Eve Valkyrie you really think you're in the cockpit of a spaceship! Here in this game the achievement is just fantastic! We'll be amazed! What an incredible space opera! Everything is amazing in this demo! This Eve Valkyrie is one of the best VR experiences! To finish this Playstation VR test, a colleague had the brilliant idea of ​​wanting to launch my game Until Dawn Rush Of Blood! While knowing that I had already seriously freaked out with the game Until Dawn, this virtual reality experience did not enchant me! In Until Dawn Rush Of Blood, we take a seat on a funfair ghost train and we will therefore visit places far from being touristy and charming! In this game too, the immersion is total! It feels like a dream (or rather a nightmare). The sensations are incredible and all our senses are put to the test! Expect to jump with fear! Heart attack guaranteed! Having had my dose of sensation with this Playstation VR, I write here my conclusion on this extraordinary peripheral! So yes, I sincerely think that thanks to Playstation VR, virtual reality will take off in the world of video games! Realism, but above all immersion, takes a huge step forward! Like back then when switching from 2D to 3D! Really try virtual reality, it’s exhilarating! You feel like you're inside a video game, it's incredible! It’s a shame that the high price of this Playstation VR leaves out a lot of less fortunate players, because it’s a great experience! Headset technology is also in its infancy between cables, limited field of vision, pixelation, aliasing, and the necessary configuration, everything is not yet at the top! This Playstation VR shows, in my opinion, one of the directions that video games must take! The immersion is incredible, the sensations are there, it’s the future! So try this Playstation VR if you can, you won't regret it, it's a magical experience! I hope Sony transforms its trial, with incredible VR games!
