Nintendo Switch my opinion 2 years later!

It's been over 2 years since I owned the latest Nintendo console! Here is my opinion on the Nintendo Switch 02 years later

It must be said that as soon as it was announced, I was excited by the concept of this Nintendo Switch which allowed you to play in your living room but also outside, and on the move. After more than two years of gaming on this console I give you my opinion.

PLAY ANYWHERE!

Yes, we can play the Nintendo Switch anywhere and anytime, I have clearly adopted this new way of playing. It's very practical, it's fun, you can easily improvise games with friends. In addition, the Nintendo Switch is not complicated to handle, my 5 year old child can use it without difficulty. As usual, Nintendo has studied its console well.

A USER-FRIENDLY CONSOLE!

With these strong licenses, like Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros and Splatoon, playing with family (or friends) is a real joy! No age limit, you can play from 5 to 95 years old 🙂. This Nintendo Switch is a user-friendly video game console intended for the whole family.

WELCOME TO REMASTERLAND!

This is for me the big downside of this Nintendo Switch. Clearly since its release we have only been stuck with remasters of Nintendo games from the Nintendo Wii U. Even the brilliant Zelda Breath Of The Wild is a game from the Wii U! The list is long, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, Mario Maker, New Super Mash Bros, Hyrule Warriors, all these games come from the Wii U. The next Luigi’s Mansion? Its development was initially planned for the Wii U, in short...

Games from third-party publishers are downright a festival of ports! Dark Souls, The Witcher 3, Legocity Undercover, Assassin’s Creed 3, Final Fantasy, Grandia, Panzer Dragoon, and I forget hundreds of others. Only remaster only port, no innovation. I'm still looking for innovative games on Nintendo Switch, except on the Indian gaming scene, for the rest it's crossing the desert.

AN OUTDATED CONSOLE!

The title may be strong but I don't think it's far from the truth. This Nintendo Switch which arrived in 2017 with its Nvidia Tegra processor does not even reach the level of the aging Xbox One and PS4 which date from 2013. Technologically it is outdated and this is seen in games, especially in living room TV mode. It's better in portable mode but it's not flattering either with its maximum resolution of 720p.

If you have all the consoles, for “multi support” games, choose the PS4 or Xbox One version, your eyes will thank you… There is no doubt that Nintendo is preparing one or more new models of its Nintendo Switch, but its technological delay is significant. This is a criterion to take into account especially with the future PS5 and Scarlett…

I haven't even mentioned online gaming, but I'll be brief, Nintendo Switch Online is not up to today's standards. Online play is really archaic on the Switch. Nintendo is also a long way behind on this and yet we are in 2019. While Sony and Microsoft have been offering PS4 and XBox One games in their subscriptions for years, Nintendo is content with Nes and Super Nes games…

MY OPINION 2 YEARS LATER!

Cette Nintendo Switchreminds me of Nintendo Wii syndrome. As with its big sister, the Nintendo Switch is a very popular, family-friendly, fun video game console. Nintendo always launches games at the right time to regularly revive interest in this hybrid console. The Nintendo Switch is also the console that we often turn on during evenings with family or friends.

Personally, I had a blast with my Switch on Zelda Breath Of The Wild and I'm really looking forward to the Zelda Game Boy remake because I was too little to play it at the time... However, except to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with my son, I rarely turn on my Nintendo Switch, because this console does not have strong exclusives like Spiderman, Uncharted 4, Judgment on PS4 or FORZA Horizon and Sea Of Thieves on Xbox One. I have been waiting for 2 years for the Nintendo Switch to offer NEW GAMES!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait for Luigi’s Mansion 3, Metroid and why not let's go crazy for a new strong Nintendo License, but don't dream... Instead, like the Wii back in the day, the Nintendo Switch is overflowing with "remaster" games and uninteresting (to me) ports.

In short, this Nintendo Switch blows hot and cold. Yes it is very innovative and user-friendly, but technologically it is outdated and it is saturated with ports and remasters of games, seen and reviewed...
