Nintendo Switch 2 approaching?
Casually, it’s been almost 7 years since Nintendo offered us its Nintendo Switch! Its successor, a “Nintendo Switch 2” should not be long!
It's been 4 years since our "influencers" and "gaming YouTubers" have been prophesying to us a Nintendo Switch XL, Switch XL 4K, Switch XL Pro 4K to infinity and beyond! AND yes, 4 years of these video game specialists talking nonsense in order to get views but above all money, pa$$ion eh… Clearly there was nothing concrete just wind to make money…
In short, by dint of announcing rain, one day it will inevitably arrive.
I'm going to share with you my predictions regarding this next Nintendo Switch 2 (if it turns out it won't even have that name)!
For me, the future Nintendo console will be released in 2024, it would not be surprising if video game developers already have development kits. Nintendo still sells a lot ofNintendo SwitchThey have no interest in unveiling their new console now.
Nintendo should ensure that games purchased on the Nintendo Store for the Switch are compatible on their future consoles, in short as on the Playstation and XBox online stores
It is likely (and interesting) that this console is backward compatible with the entire Nintendo Switch catalog.
Concerning the technical power of the future Nintendo console, we should not expect a miracle and an overpowering machine. If Nintendo keeps the concept of a Portable/Home hybrid machine, it will have power equivalent to a PS4 Pro at best. We must hope that Nintendo natively integrates the latest technologies for its console allowing a significant gain in gaming power, such as Nvidia's DLSS or AMD's FSR. Fingers crossed that Nintendo's future machine includes decent storage for games, because 32 GB is nothing to dream of and it was already pitiful in 2017
Let's hope that the next Nintendo console natively integrates an Oled screen, but for the sake of savings it's likely that we'll end up with an LCD screen :-/
My prediction
The next “Nintendo Switch 2” or whatever it is called, will arrive in 2024. Due to inflation, it will probably be sold for €400 minimum. It will be backwards compatible with Nintendo Switch (otherwise it would be shooting yourself in the foot). And for its power it will basically be a Playstation 4 Pro boosted with the latest AMD and Nvidia technologies. It will be complicated to offer better otherwise the autonomy will be catastrophic (hello Steam Deck and Asus Rog Ally) and in any case Nintendo no longer relies on power at all since the Wii…
