My Playstation TV review!

Today I offer you my little test of the Playstation TV that I recently acquired!

Having seen the Playstation TV on sale at the shopping center near my house, I told myself that at €35 I wasn't risking much! Once I acquired the creature, I quickly connected this Playstation TV to my second television in my room! The Playstation TV looks like a small black box, with a sober and minimalist design. It has a USB port, an HDMI port, an RJ45 port and a power cable of course. Its configuration is modeled on the hardware and software of the Playstation Vita! Basically it's a living room PS Vita! The idea is original but it’s not perfect! Indeed, adapting the weak resolution of the PS Vita to a living room TV gives a more than average result, especially since the Playstation TV does not support full HD 1080P! You will see that the result stings a little! In addition, despite support for the PS4 pad, some PS Vita games cannot be played on the Playstation TV! Damage!

This console also boasts the ability to stream the PS4 on a secondary television! I said to myself, that's cool, I'll be able to free up the television in the living room, to the delight of my family! I also quickly became disillusioned at this level! No point trying to stream using WiFi, it will give a lousy display and a lousy framerate! It is essential to connect wired via the RJ45 of the Playstation TV and PS4 for the result to be “playable”! I was able to play my PS4 from my room via PS TV, even the online game went pretty well! But hey, I think Sony could have done better at this level (the display of PS4 games on the PS TV is not great). In short, you will be happy to return to your PS4 in the living room :). To give you my opinion, this Playstation TV is not really worth it! IN fact, new features on Ps Vita are rare! Sony no longer communicates at all on this console… The PS Vita game library available on Playstation TV is not at the top! Ultimately this small console can help you out if you want to stream your PS4 to another television! But don't expect a flamboyant result! Too bad because if used well, this Playstation TV could do some heavy lifting...
