My best Dreamcast games!

I offer you my little top 10 of my best games on Dreamcast! I think these games are essential on the Sega Dreamcast!

As number 1 of course, I nominate Shenmue 1! This game absolutely must be part of your Dreamcast collection. Shenmue largely inspired today's open world games like GTA, Yakuza and Sleeping Dogs. Shenmue offers an unforgettable adventure, a magnificent journey to Japan, and incredibly rich gameplay, going from a fighting game, to an adventure game, to an RPG, but also to an action game, without forgetting exploration! In addition to being a graphic and cultural slap in the face, Shenmue is for me quite simply the best game on the Sega Dreamcast

As number 2 I name Sonic Adventure! Casually, this is the first Sonic in 3D Dimensions! What a big graphic slap for the time! For the first time, this Sonic offered to explore a city as well as a jungle, in addition to going through the classic Sonic stages where speed was obviously there as well as the clashes against Robotnik and his robots! Despite some camera issues, this Sonic Adventure is just great on the Sega Dreamcast!

As number 3 it’s Shenmue 2! The sequel to the incredible Shenmue keeps all its promises! Even bigger, even more ambitious and even richer than the first episode, this Shenmue 2 takes us to Hong Kong but also to other incredible places in China. Between exploration, fighting, adventure, QTEs, mini games and the RPG side, you will spend a lot of time on this magnificent Shenmue 2. The Sega Dreamcast spits its guts on this game, the console is used to its maximum here! This Shenmue 2 is a must have on Dreamcast!

In number 4, I name a very original but above all downright fun game, Jet Set Radio! This UFO video game is one of the first games to use cell shading graphics (cartoon style graphics). The goal of this game is to create graffiti in the city of Tokyo-To, but of course the police are keeping an eye out :). We have a good laugh in Jet Set Radio and I strongly recommend that you acquire this game in your Dreamcast game library

In number 5, of course I nominate Crazy Taxi! It’s a completely crazy arcade game, where you play as completely irresponsible taxi drivers :) . The goal of Crazy Taxi is to support as many customers as possible and earn as much money as possible! Between the red lights, the forbidden directions, the springboards, the roofs of buildings, the shortcuts, you will lose all your points on your driving license! Graphically at the top and with Offspring at full blast, Crazy Taxi is cult on Dreamcast!

And at number 6, how can we forget the incredible Virtua Tennis! In addition to being a graphic slap in the face for its time, this tennis game is incredibly accessible to the greatest number of players. In addition to having simple and impeccable handling, this Virtua Tennis is so addictive! Playing with a friend is a total blast and hours of unforgettable games are in store! Virtua Tennis to try it is to adopt it on Sega Dreamcast!

As number 7 it's SoulCalibur! Namco's fighting game has established itself as one of the best fighting games of its time! On the Sega Dreamcast, it felt like we had the arcade machine at home! This SoulCalibur was magnificent, fast, violent, with simply perfect gameplay! You will have a blast playing this fighting game whether in solo or multiplayer with a friend! SoulCalibur is one of the best fighting games of all time! You absolutely must have it in your Dreamcast collection!

At number 8 I want to name Sega Rally 2! Even if the European Dreamcast version is castrated by its 50hz frequency, this Sega Rally 2 brings to your home the sensations of the arcade machine of the time! It's super fast, fun, graphically clean, very nervous, it's a pure Sega racing game, very naughty and very arcade as we like it! This Sega Rally 2 is a very good game to absolutely own on your Sega Dreamcast!

In number 9 I name The House Of The Dead 2! Obviously you have to equip yourself with the right gun, but once you're in the game, it's a blast! We have a lot of fun in this House Of the Dead 2, busting zombies and saving people in difficulty. This shooting game is a great delirium, it's arcade, it's crazy, it's made in Sega! The House Of The Dead 2 with its pistol has its place in your Sega Dreamcast collection!

And to finish at number 10 I name Power Stone! This Power Stone is a fighting game developed by Capcom for the Sega Dreamcast! This Power Stone offers completely crazy arena fights where anything goes! Playing against a friend is a total blast and hours of gaming are in store! Even if it doesn't look like much, this Power Stone remains a sure value on the Sega Dreamcast, as you have understood, this crazy fighting game must be part of your game library!
