Mega Drive Mini Transformed Trial! Sega is back!
During Japan Expo 2019 I had the opportunity to try out the Mega Drive Mini made by Sega at length! For a try, this try is transformed! Sega is back :)
First of all, I would like to thank Koch Media for this superb Sega Mega Drive stand which takes up the codes of a good old spotty teenager's bedroom from the Sega generation it's stronger than you :) In this room it was possible to take in hand, the real Sega Mega Drive Mini, finally built by Sega and no longer subcontracted by At Games… Clearly the result is there! Already, it looks like a real Sega Mega Drive (in mini version). Its look is very nice and doesn't look cheap at all.
A Mega Drive Mini worthy of the name!
I found nothing to complain about during my gaming sessions with this Mega Drive Mini, it is almost impossible to tell the difference with the venerable Sega Mega Drive. The image is impeccable, but above all fluid! Thanks 60hz! What a treat to be able to play in very good conditions on our modern televisions! The cathode filter takes us back to adolescence! It’s just magnificent :) You can take my word for it!
With the original 03-button Mega Drive Pad (connected via USB) the sensations of yesteryear return instantly and unlike the Nes Mini the controller cable is long enough! This controller is very responsive, it’s really nice! What can we say about this very good, refined menu! The game covers are present with a complete summary as well as the release date of the game in question, it's simple, clean and effective! Despite the ambient noise of the Japan Expo it was possible to put on headphones and I can tell you that the sound part is also very careful, it's a treat for our ears. I wandered through the console menu and noticed that we could save our games via different memory slots and for the display we can play in modern or cathode version! This is great class 🙂
Believe me, I've had a hard time with those cursed "Mega Drive Mini" from AtGames, disgusting image, shoddy emulation, messy menu, crappy wireless controller... I assure you that this new mini console made by Sega has nothing to do with it! ThisSega Mega Drive Miniis clearly stronger than you!
Sega is back!
Yes and it’s nice! Like the Nintendo Classic Mini and Super Nintendo Classic Mini, this realMega Drive Miniis very neat! It’s almost a miracle! I no longer believed it, and yet Sega (finally) took matters into its own hands! With these 42 (superb) games, some of which are rare on the auction market, this Mega Drive Mini is a very beautiful tribute to Sega's best video game console. If Sega hears me I would like a Saturn and Dreamcast Mini, I know I'm dreaming :p
