Are you hesitating between several video game consoles to put under the Christmas tree? A PS Vita? A 3DS? An Xbox One, A Wii U? A PS4? What console to buy for Christmas? Count on me to try to help you and ensure that your Christmas gift delights your family!

• So let's start with portable consoles!My opinion will be very sharp but I think you will thank me later! IndeedI strongly advise you not to invest in a PS Vita!For what? Quite simply because Sony has abandoned its portable video game console! It's crossing the desert for this PS Vita, don't count on seeing any big video games land on this console in the coming weeks... In addition, its game catalog is really weak, its hits can be counted on the fingers of one hand (Gravity Rush, Uncharted, Killzone Mercenary, Tearaway, Soul Sacrifice). You have the choice between Nintendo 2DS, 3DS, 3DS XL, and New 3DS! How to find your way around? It’s very simple! The Nintendo 2DS is ideal for children! In fact it is very robust and completely devoid of 3D relief (an element harmful to children's eyesight), it is also the cheapest range! You then have the choice between the 3DS and 3DS XL! Honestly, go for the XL range, your eyes will thank you! And the latest addition to the 3DS family, “the Nintendo New 3DS” What is it? This is a slight technical evolution (more powerful graphics processor, improved 3D relief, and presence of a right joystick) of the 3DS range! Frankly, unless you get it at a very good price, purchasing the Nintendo New 3DS is not essential! For what? Because next year the Nintendo NX is coming! To summarize, in the 3DS range I recommend the Nintendo 2DS for children and the 3DS XL for teenagers and adults! You will find hundreds of essential and very varied games on 3DS portable consoles!The Nintendo 3DS handheld console range is a great Christmas choice for the whole family!

Between Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Halo 5, Forza Horizon 2, Forza 6, and the upcoming Rise Of The Tomb Raider, Fable Legends, Sea Of Thieves, Quantum Break, Recore, Gears Of War 4, the Xbox One has a promising future! Now let's move on to PS4! She is number 1 in sales! No wonder with a launch at €400 and a console clearly geared towards video games, Sony has hit the mark! Unfortunately she has no exclusivity for Christmas! All of his hits are postponed for 2016! I'm particularly thinking of Uncharted 4, Street Fighter V, the next Gran Turismo… But hey, I'm not worried about the PS4, I know it will be the star of Christmas. Today's youth no longer swear by this console! Like in the good old days of the Playstation 1! I personally own both consoles, the PS4 and the Xbox One! I prefer the Xbox One for several reasons. It is (partly) retro compatible with the Xbox 360, you can stream its games on PC and tablet, and its games are more varied, not to mention its upcoming Christmas exclusives! However, given the hegemony of the PS4! If you don't want your child to be made fun of in the playground, take him a PS4 and you'll be sure to make him happy! He will be able to play with all of his friends!To summarize, if this purchase is for you, I recommend an Xbox One immediately. On the other hand, if it's for your young, pimply teenagers, the PS4 is an obvious choice!When it comes to video game consoles to avoid, don't take a Playstation TV, it's useless! (Streaming PS4 games and ability to play Vita games on TV). Finally the aging but very honorable PS3 and Xbox 360 are retired, fewer and fewer games will land on these supports!I therefore advise you not to buy them except at a very low price!
